Whether you are on holiday in the area or live locally, you can do much more than you could imagine in the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean and Brecon Beacons.
Water based or land based, adrenaline-filled or chilled, family friendly or adults-only – you choose and we’ll provide! Our activity packages are a great way to explore the area, and see its wild beauty from a different perspective, completely immersed in your surroundings. Weekend Adventures or Multi-day Activity Packages: The Choice is Yours!
How it works: Choose between 4 activities over 2 days (weekend or mid-week); 3 activities over 1 and a half days; 2 activities in 1 day or 1 activity on either a morning or afternoon. Or more – 3 days or even 4, the choice is completely up to you and we will always try to accommodate you and your group’s requirements.
Because our activities are great for such wide age-ranges and levels of skill they make great family days out and weekend adventures. Why not bring the whole family canoeing on the Wye followed by some rock climbing? The kids will absolutely love it! And so will the parents!! The great majority of our adventures are suitable for all abilities including beginners and we will advise, train and coach you throughout. Our professional outdoor instructors will put you at ease and ensure you enjoy your activities while remaining safe. Our activity packages are great for groups too. Hens and stags looking for some outdoor adventures with friends love taking part and letting us give their group a really unique experience day. Camping, glamping or staying in a cottage or house nearby they get to explore this beautiful area and have an adventure the whole group will never forget – and of course plenty of photographs as keepsakes too!
Where Will Your Adventure Activities Take Place?
The area where we operate is in the Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons in Monmouthshire, South Wales and the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. Many locations are within an hour from Bristol, Cardiff, Hereford, Newport, Gloucester and Cheltenham and an hour and a half from Birmingham, Swindon and Bath. Depending on your activity package you may stay in one location or your activities may take place in multiple locations. Our website has some suggested multi-day itineraries, for example a weekend with 4 activities might involve rock climbing and abseiling at Symonds Yat, stand-up paddleboarding in Monmouth, gorge scrambling near Abergavenny and a guided open canoe river trip on the River Wye. Summer Holiday Active Family Adventures
Our busiest time of year is July and August when of course the summer school holidays fall. After the stressful exam season parents want to treat their kids and the kids just want to let their hair down! In this beautiful area we can offer the perfect solution. Our packages also take the hassle out of organisation, because we can plan as many days as you like of activities, so all you have to do is turn up!
