Rock Climbing and Abseiling

The limestone cliffs at Symonds Yat in the Wye Valley offer a variety of venues for rock climbing with a good mixture of grades and ideally suited for a good introduction to the sport. We offer something for everyone whether it is your first climb, or you are an experienced lead climber.

Abseiling – The only way is down! Once you have reached the top of your climb, enjoy coming back down to earth.  Abseiling is how you descend a cliff using ropes. Attached to a safety rope and an abseil rope you will lower yourself down the rock. There are a range of abseils available from 30ft up to about 85ft.
